| Exhibiting December 9, 2013 through February 1, 2014 Stephanie Naffah has loved photography for as long as she can remember. She loves taking photographs and capturing moments. For Stephanie, photography is highly enjoyable. When she is holding a camera, it allows her to escape from reality and enter 'Stephanie's World'. When she has entered her world, she is 110% focused on her work; nothing else matters or has her attention. Being involved with photography has given Stephanie greater self-confidence and receiving positive feedback is a great feeling. Stephanie feels that every photo has a story that goes along with it. She enjoys taking photos of subjects that others may enjoy looking at as well as subjects that may not get a lot of attention. She explains that a landmark may be a popular photography opportunity but behind the photograph, there is also a message that drew the photographer to take that picture. By taking photos of subjects that are usually ignored, one can shine light on something different and unique. Stephanie finds that through photography she has the ability to express who she in and photography has helped her learn life's lessons. |
